The annual bonfire is a tradition that has been a part of the Hunterdon Huskies for many years. Held just before our season opening friendship games, it is an evening full of true Huskies Spirit. There is lots of terrific food and fantastic fun for our athletes! The Huskies families fill the sidelines and cheer for each of the teams as they are brought on to the field and introduced. Our terrific cheerleaders amaze us with the awesome routines that they have been working hard to put together in what feels like a very short period of time. WHY DONATE

Why donate to the Hunterdon Huskies?

While our association is run by volunteers, we still pay for practice fields, indoor facilities, game day fields, game operations, referees, uniforms, financial aid, and insurance. The Huskies rely heavily on donations, fundraising and sponsors to make this a great experience for the children.

A message from our League President:

For the past 43 years, the non-profit Hunterdon Huskies American Youth Football Organization has provided our local youth with the opportunity to excel in football and cheer programs. The commitment required on the field (hundreds of hours during the course of an entire season) and in the classroom builds character, self-reliance, accountability, teamwork, and discipline in our children, which serve them well as they advance in life, as proven by the many scholastic and professional successes of former Huskies.

Making unprecedented Huskies History, our 2016 Pee Wee Football Team earned a AYF Division 2 National Championship title, which was a back-to-back National Championship win for these boys. Our cheer teams followed and in Fall 2017 our D14 placed 2nd in the nation and our D12 earned the 2017 National Champion title!

Our goal is to raise funds during our 2018 Hunterdon Huskies “Make It Happen” Drive. These funds will be utilized to fulfill our immediate objective of ensuring every player has the opportunity make this special trip. These funds will be used to enable future football teams and cheerleaders to participate in the American Youth Football and Cheer National Championships held annually in Orlando, Florida.

The Hunterdon Huskies organization is a tax-qualified charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code so your contribution is tax-deductible (Form W-9 included).

Contributions can be made via the PayPal link above or by mail (checks payable to HBAA):

Just because Amazon's Prime Day ends at midnight 7/17 you can help support the Huskies any time you shop at Amazon, see below for details.

VOLUNTEERS

The Hunterdon Huskies is a 100% volunteer organization. Our volunteers are the foundation of the organization and we rely on the generosity of our families time and talent to run our snack shack and assist with game day activities/events.

We need your help to get the season started. While there are minimum requirements for all parents to volunteer, there is no limit if you have the time to help out at the field.

Open shifts are listed on this link.

Please log in to your Huskies website account to manage your shifts. More information about this policy is listed here in our Parent Requirements Section of the website.
