As in previous seasons, for the safety our the youth in our program, all coaches are required to complete various courses and background checks in order to take the field for the 2017 season.
The requirements for this season are as follows:
Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic Certification - required of all coaches and commissioners. This certification, once obtained, is good for life. Certification received through another youth organization, upon proof of certification, will be accepted. This three hour class in available on several dates throughout the state and the schedule for the course may be obtained via http://youthsports.rutgers.edu/schedules/s-a-f-e-t-y-clinic.
IdentoGO Fingerprinting - required by High Bridge Borough Police Department of all coaches and commissioners. Fingerprinting, once performed, is good for two (2) years. All coaches and commissioners who were fingerprinted in 2016 do not need to be re-fingerprinted this year. All new coaches and commissioners and those fingerprinted in 2015 MUST be fingerprinted this year. IdentoGO centers are available in several locations, the closest being in Annandale.
