The Hunterdon Huskies is very pleased to announce the appointment of Head Football Coaches for our 2017 “Championship” Football Season. We’d like to thank them in advance for “stepping up” to provide our young men with leadership to excel “On the Field, In the Classroom and In the Community”. Please welcome:
Hunterdon Huskies Contender Head Football Coach – Deb O’Connor
o For four full years, Deb has taken on the leadership responsibility for our Contender Football Program. The program has grown from three boys to eleven along with one girl. This year promises to be bigger yet and it’s why we are so blessed to get Deb back to lead it. These physically challenged young men demonstrate what is best about the Huskies Football organization. Practicing on regular Huskies practice nights on the same football field gives the kids a sense of “belonging” that is real. The demonstration of their skills during the halftime of our regularly scheduled games is a “true highlight” for everyone at Union Forge Field. Thanks Deb and we look forward to a fruitful and fun 2017 season for you and your team.
